Fitness

  • Chair Yoga

    Chair yoga is a gentle form of yoga that can be done sitting on a chair or standing on the ground while using the chair for support. Benefits of chair yoga include improved flexibility, better concentration, and increased strength.

  • Enhanced Fitness

    Enhanced Fitness is a series of evidence-based exercises performed while seated to improve posture, strengthen upper body, and increase flexibility.

  • Evening Fitness Class

    Evening Fitness Classes, offered on Monday and Wednesday evenings, are functional training classes for seniors, designed to strengthen and enhance their muscles so that daily tasks like carrying groceries, climbing stairs, or even getting up from a chair become easier and safer.

  • Hand Dance

    Hand Dance class covers basic leading and following skills and footwork. Gliding footwork and continuous partner communication will be taught.

  • Kickboxing

    Kickboxing is a guided variety of exercises, including punches, kicks, and footwork drills, all aimed at enhancing your cardiovascular fitness and strength. These movements will not only help you burn calories but also improve your coordination, agility, and balance.

  • Line Dancing

    Line Dancing is the perfect exercise for improving coordination and balance, increasing cardiovascular health and brain memory, and improving mood and mental clarity.

  • Strength and Conditioning Classes

    Strength and Conditioning Classes are designed to increase flexibility, joint stability, balance, coordination, agility, muscular strength, and cardiovascular endurance. The workout combines cardio, resistance (strength) training, and toning with plenty of fun.

  • Tai Chi

    Tai chi is a practice that involves a series of slow, gentle movements and physical postures, a meditative state of mind, and controlled breathing. Tai chi may be beneficial in improving balance and preventing falls in older adults and people with Parkinson’s disease.

  • Zumba Gold

    Zumba Gold incorporates low-impact dance moves that are gentle on the joints while still offering a fantastic workout, providing a workout that promotes cardiovascular health, flexibility, and overall well-being.

Nutrition & Health Education

Improving the health outcomes of our seniors by providing nutritional educational classes, individual assessments and counseling, and cooking demos.

  • Nutrition Counseling

    Personalized counseling addresses seniors at nutritional risk, helping them manage dietary needs and chronic illnesses through tailored guidance.

    Are you ready for an afternoon filled with fun, friendship, and fantastic prizes? Our Bingo Event is the perfect way to enjoy a social gathering with peers while testing your luck! We play Bingo every Mondays & Fridays at 1pm.
